Maintenance East Cape (MEC) Services

El Encanto de La Laguna is proud to have the MEC service team dedicated solely to our owner’s needs and general common areas (HOA) of El Encanto de La Laguna. With an in-house team that is capable of providing almost any type of service imaginable, you can rest-assured that your vacation home in Los Cabo will be well cared for when you are away. Whether you need someone to help install a new ceiling fan or stain your outdoor cabinets, finding general help is only a phone call or email away. The MEC service team is located on-site and has staff at the community 24 hours a day. With familiar faces and many years of experience, the MEC service team provides a one stop solution making ownership in Mexico simple.

The MEC team consists of approximately 30 employees that do the following services:

  • Security Staff- 24 hour security located at the front guard house. There are back up security staff members that allow for the staff to do rounds through the community. The community has a video surveillance system at the front guard as well as beach areas and numerous streets.
  • Desalination Plant- Part of the MEC staff is a team that takes care of the water desalination plant on a daily basis. The trained professionals look over the multi-stage system and make sure it is working at an optimal level.
  • Maintenance Team- There are staff members that specialize in pool care, gardening, electrical work, plumbing work, carpentry, and so on. No matter what the job is, the MEC team can handle it.
  • Concierge- The MEC team has a full time concierge that assist in making sure owners questions, work orders, and special requests are all taken care of in a timely manner.
  • Administration- With an in-house administrator, you can rest assured that your bills are paid, property tax is handled, and all HOA matters are transparent.
