Location:
El Encanto is located in a small seaside area of San Jose del Cabo by the name of “La Laguna” which is located on the eastern edge of town only 3 miles directly down the beach from the new marina in Puerto Los Cabos and a 15 minute drive to downtown San Jose del Cabo.
El Encanto de La Laguna sits along the border of the “Fundadores” section of Puerto Los Cabos.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to drive to the marina at PLC, 15 minutes to be in downtown San Jose del Cabo, and 30 minutes to get to the airport.
The location is unique in that it is out of the “hustle and bustle” of town allowing residents to have more views of the beautiful desert meeting the coastline, beaches that are empty, and the sounds of nature versus the sounds of traffic.
Size of Community:
The community of El Encanto de La Laguna is a boutique community that will consist of 36 “Las Casas” single family homes and 65 “Villas” Condominiums inside of the main gate. Outside of the front gate there is going to be a Beach Club Resort and Fitness Center along with additional amenities as well as up to 10 condo “Villas”. The overall site within the gates is 7 hectares which is approximately 17.29 acres.
Residence Options:
El Encanto de La Laguna offers two primary type of residences, “Las Casas” and “Las Villas”. The “Las Casas” product is a Hacienda style single family home residence that is customized to an owners specifications and built by the El Encanto construction team in approximately 9 months. The size of the homes range from 3,500.- 4,200. sq. feet of interior living space, 4-5 bedrooms, and have ample outdoor living areas that come standard with private infinity pools, jacuzzi, palapa swim up bar, outdoor cooking center, and fire-pit. The “Las Villas” condo residences range from 1,700.- 3,200 sq. feet of interior living space, 2-4 bedrooms, as well as ample outdoor terraces. The Las Villas are finished in the same high quality as the Las Casas with the main difference being that they are attached and share one spectacular common area with infinity pool, jacuzzi, palapa bar, outdoor cooking areas, fire-pits and lounge areas. The different condo phases are low density with anywhere from 21-24 units sharing private areas. The residences inside of El Encanto de La Laguna are full ownership, however, there will be a new fractional product introduced sometime in 2012 that will be outside of the front gates near the new amenities that are planned.

Construction Style and Details:
All residences are built in a Hacienda style architecture. The finish quality throughout all residences is more or less the same high quality that sets El Encanto apart from the competition whether it is in regards to “Las Casas” or “Las Villas”. The combination of beautiful natural stones and woods with the talent of the Mexican craftsmen create an elegance and old world charm that is unrivaled.

Security:
El Encanto de La Laguna has one guard house entry and exit that is staffed by a security guard 24 hours a day. During the night there is an additional guard that patrols the beach area. There is a state-of-the-art video surveillance and motion detection system currently being installed throughout the community to give real time feed and long-term storage of all entry and exit zones of the community.
Beach Access:
All beachfront homes have their own private beach access. Any home or condo not on the beach is only steps away from the central beach access located in between lots 7 and 8.
Amenities:
The developers recently purchased additional land just outside the front gate of the community and have designed a Beach Club Resort and Fitness Center that will boast many amenities from an ocean view gym to tennis to lavish beachfront infinity edge pool area and owners lounge areas. The developer has designed a separate company by the name of MEC (Maintenance East Cape) that is a full service, in-house team that covers the needs of the community ranging from property managment to security to maintenance, maid service, concierge service, and administrative work for the HOA.
